As hot as it has been around here, I think that all of us are interested in the weather, because we want to see when this excruciating heat is going to dissipate. Thankfully, it appears as if it is going to be much cooler this week. Unfortunately, there are some things that you just cannot avoid in life and one of these things is the weather. About all you can do is either move or grin and bear it. As unpleasant as it can be from time to time, keeping track of what the weather is going to be like today, tomorrow, next week or next month is something that almost all of us want to do. It doesn’t seem to matter whether the forecast is calling for rain, shine, snow or ice.
If you are an iPhone owner, we have just the app for you that will be keep you abreast of the weather situation. The app is called WTHR and was developed by David Elgena. The set-up is not difficult. All you have to do is to accept a request for use of the geographic location that you are at and then wait for the interface to appear. Once it appears, you will be most impressed with what meets your eye. Set against a beige background, you will see three sections of the app. In the top half you will see what the weather is like in your local area. In the middle part of the app, you will see a one-word description of the weather along with the current temperature. In the bottom portion of the app, you will see a switch that will allow you to change the current temperature from Fahrenheit to Celsius. Just above the switch you should also see the seven-day forecast.
You may not like what you see if the weather does not meet your fancy, however you will be delighted to see how easy it is to quickly check the weather within a slick and smooth interface. So go ahead and check out the WTHR app for iPhone.
